The Technological Centre of the Granite has developed the first norms of placing of products of natural stone

The daily reality of the pathologies that arise in the world of the construction with stone indicates us that the majority of them have relation with designs of put in work, badly conceived or badly executed, but in rare occasions are owed to the material used.
In reality, except the NTE, quite ancient already, did not exist for these material normative documents that faced of integrated form codes of constructive best practices, to which the technicians could resort with guarantee.

For the development of the norms, constituted  Forums of debate, in which they have participated entities like the Professional Schools of Architects and technical Architects, Universities, Centres of investigation, known companies of the sector of the construction and independent experts. 

Like this, they made  the following norms UNE:

-UNE 22202-1. CONSTRUCTION OF PAVINGS WITH NATURAL STONE. PART 1: SLABS FOR PAVING OF FLOORS AND STAIRS.

-UNE 22202-2. CONSTRUCTION OF PAVINGS WITH NATURAL STONE.PART 2: SETTS FOR PAVING.

-UNE 22202-3. CONSTRUCTION OF PAVINGS WITH NATURAL STONE. PART 2: KERBS AND OTHER COMPLEMENTARY UNITS FOR PAVING.

-UNE 22202-4. CONSTRUCTION OF PAVINGS WITH NATURAL STONE. PART 4: RAISED ACCESS FLOORS.

-UNE 22203. CONSTRUCTION OF FACADE CLADDINGS WITH NATURAL STONE.

These norms, available already in www.aenor.es, contain criteria for the selection of the type of stone, the characterisation of the different subsystems that take part and his dimensioning, as well as the characteristics of the procedures of placing and the control to realise in work, so much of the materials as of his execution.
