Environmental statements of product DAPc® for products of granite

The environmental statements of product are a ecolabel system of EPD (Environmental Product Declaration) of the construction, pioneer in Spain, that follows the European guidelines and regulated by the norms ISO 14025 and 15804.

The environmental transparency is fundamental in the sector of the granite of Galicia so that the prescriber select the stone like constructive material attending to environmental criteria, further of the aesthetic, economic and functional.

For this, the Department of Sustainable Development of the CTG (Technological Centre of the Granite) has led, in collaboration with the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) the editorial of the Rules of Category of Product (RCP) for products of stone and arid.

This has derived in the realisation of a complete Analysis of Cycle of Life for the four of the constructive products more commercialised of the sector and the obtaining of four environmental statements of product DAPc® (External Pavings, Inner Pavings, Claddings of facade and Ventilated Facade).

The advances in this field show the interest of the sector for competing using the sustainable environmental/vector like mercantile advantage, and have like purpose the increase of the value perceived of our products in front of the international competitors.
